Overview:

1. Participation in the Ghostbar Graveyard Bash Costume Contest is open to patrons attending the Ghostbar Event ages and 21 and up and must be a member of the Club Serrano program. Membership is free.

Contest will take place during the Event 9:00pm Thursday, October 31 until 3:00am Friday, November 1 in Ghostbar. Participants must be present during contest beginning at 11:00pm to win.

2. Participants must register for the Costume Contest via a QR code, starting at 9:00pm and ending at the start of each contest to qualify for the Costume Contest.

3. Participants can choose to be entered into one (1) of three (3) categories: Scariest, Creative, or Best Duo/Group.

4. The selected winner from each of the three (3) categories will be automatically entered into the Best Overall Costume contest. Where one (1) will receive the Top prize.

  • $1,000 Cash

6. All four (4) of the above prizes will be awarded to contestants with the most crowd reaction measured by a decibel (DB) meter.

7. Winners must be present to claim prize.

8. Any prize won will be awarded to the registered Participant.

9. Cash prize will be made out to the individual registered Participants and redeemable at Palms Cage/Cashier based upon their winning category.

10. The winner of the $1,000 cash prize is responsible for all taxes and is required to complete the appropriate form(s).

11. If the winner is not a US Citizen, a 1042S form will be required and 30% of the winnings would have to be withheld.

12. All paperwork must be completed after winner has been verified.

13. For Best Duo/Group category, participants will need to have a representative registered to collect winnings. This representative will be responsible for distributing the prizes to their fellow team members.

14. For Halloween Costumes, the following items are PROHIBITED: Fake (or real) weapons of any kind, full face masks, extreme makeup or face paint that covers your identity, masks that cover entire head, nudity (including pasties or body paint, realistic law enforcement or security costumes, bare (including sheer coverings)

General Rules:

1. Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable.

2. When applicable, winners must fill out a prize log, a prize agreement, provide applicable tax information, and provide a valid I.D. to claim a prize.

3. Falsification of any information will result in ineligibility.

4. The published Official Prize Structure is final and cannot, and will not, be modified and will be paid as published. Any agreements between Participants concerning the sharing of winnings are entered solely by the Participants and are not endorsed by Palms Casino Resort. Palms Casino Resort will not enforce any of these types of agreements and will not be responsible if any of the parties do not honor their agreement.

5. Palms Casino Resort shall be excused from all performance and or payment obligations when the ability to execute the aforementioned promotion/giveaway has been impeded as a result of, or arising from, any of the following: governmental laws, regulations, orders, war, acts of terrorism, acts of nature, pandemic viruses, riots, civil disobedience; severe weather conditions including but not limited to tornadoes, hurricanes, ice storms, snow storms, and/or hail storms; state or national emergencies (hereinafter referred to as "Force Majeure conditions"). Palms Casino Resort shall only be excused from their performance and/or payment obligations of said promotion/giveaway during the duration of the Force Majeure condition. Executive management of Palms Casino Resort shall retain the right to cancel, terminate, or postpone the Promotion/Giveaway in its sole discretion, due to Force Majeure conditions. Executive management of Palms Casino Resort shall retain the right to reschedule, or not reschedule the Promotion/Giveaway in its sole discretion. The staff of Palms Casino Resort shall use reasonable efforts to inform Promotion/Giveaway Participants of the cancellation, termination, or postponement of any Promotion/Giveaway, due to Force Majeure conditions.

6. By participating in the promotion/giveaway/contest, all participants agree to and acknowledge that they will abide by the official rules, regulations, and procedures of the giveaway. Official rules will be posted inside of the Ghostbar venue.

7. By participating in this promotion/giveaway/contest, you grant Palms Casino Resort permission to print, publish, televise, or otherwise utilize your name, city, state, photograph, or any likeness of you for promotional purposes.

8. Management on duty will resolve any and all disputes. Persons who violate any rule, gain unfair advantage in participating in the contest, or obtain winner status using fraudulent means will be disqualified.

9. Persons who have voluntarily or involuntarily been excluded from the property or who have requested self- exclusion from the property are not eligible to participate in the promotion.

10. Employees of Palms Casino Resort and their respective affiliates, owners, subsidiaries, franchisees, and advertising or promotion agencies are not eligible, nor are members of these employees’ families (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse, and life partners).

11. Casino capacity is limited and participation into a promotion/event/contest is not guaranteed if a member is unable to register/activate entries during the times stated in the official rules. No special circumstances will warrant the delaying of a promotion/event/contest to be able to accommodate individuals or groups of individuals.

12. Management reserves the right to cancel, change or modify the promotion without notice at any time.
