Gary Owen began his comedy career in the late 1990s in the San Diego area where he was stationed as an enlisted Navy man. The Cincinnati Ohio native discovered he could make audiences laugh with his honest discussions of sensitive subject matter. Since then, Owen has found success in movies and on television. He starred opposite Mike Epps and Mike Tyson in the comedy Meet the Blacks and in Ride Along with Ice Cube and Kevin Hart. His TV roles have included TruTV’s sketch series Upload with Shaquille O’Neal and the recurring part as Zach the barber in the 5th season of Tyler Perry’s House of Payne.
