Eligibility: Participation in the $1,000,000 Battle of the West Slot Tournament (collectively with all rounds, the “Tournament”) is limited to: (i) are at least twenty-one (21) years of age with identification acceptable to Sponsor; (ii) are a verified member in good standing of Club Serrano rewards program (membership is free and can join at any Club Serrano Rewards Center, including at Palms Casino Resort (“Palms”)); and (iii) have a valid email address on file eligible to receive marketing communications from Palms (hereafter “Entrant”). Employees, officers, directors, representatives and agents of FP Holdings, L.P. d/b/a Palms Casino Resort (“Sponsor”) or any prize provider(s) and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, and affiliates, including, but not limited to, Palms’ sister property, Yaamavá Resort & Casino (“YRC,” and collectively, with Sponsor, “Released Parties”), and their immediate family members (regardless of where they reside) and those living in the same household of each, are not eligible to participate or win a prize. Individuals on any ban, self-limit or self-exclusion list applicable to any casino operated by or affiliated with Sponsor are not eligible for this Promotion. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Entry submission constitutes your unconditional acceptance to these Official Rules.

QUALIFIER TOURNAMENTS 
Ways to Enter: 

•  (i) Invited Club Serrano guests 
  OR
• (ii) Non-invited Club Serrano guests that earn at least 1,250 Slot Tier Points between 12:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the qualifier tournament day(s) described below (collectively, “Participants”). 

1.    The Qualifier Tournaments (“Qualifier Tournaments”) applicable to these Official Rules will be held at Palms Casino Resort on the Casino Floor in the designated tournament area. Qualifier Tournaments will be divided into four (4), 2-day tournaments. Qualifier Tournament dates are as follows: (i.) Friday, August 9 – Saturday, August 10, 2024; (ii.) Friday, August 16 – Saturday, August 17, 2024; (iii.) Friday, August 23- Saturday, August 24, 2024; and (iv.) Friday, August 30 – Saturday, August 31, 2024. For qualifier tournaments held at YRC, see YRC’s rules.

2.    Participants must play their Qualifier Tournament round on the same day in which the Participant earned the qualifying Slot Tier Points. Participants may play in only one (1) Qualifier Tournament round per Qualifier Tournament day, unless participant separately qualifies by earning Bonus Entry as described in Rule #4 below. However, Participants may earn additional Qualifier Tournament entry(ies) on a subsequent Qualifier Tournament day(s) (same day earning still required). Notwithstanding the foregoing, a Participant may only advance in one position to subsequent Tournament rounds – see Rule # 6(c) below.

3.    Non-invited Club Serrano Participants may participate in the Qualifier Tournament(s) in the following way(s):

Qualifier Tournament # 1

• (a) Earn 1,250 Slot tier points on August 9 from 12:00am – 5:00pm to be eligible to participate in the August 9 Qualifier Tournament round; 
• (b) Earn 1,250 Slot tier points on August 10 from 12:00am – 5:00pm to be eligible to participate in the August 10 Qualifier Tournament round; 

Qualifier Tournament # 2

• (a) Earn 1,250 Slot tier points on August 16 from 12:00am – 5:00pm to be eligible to participate in the August 16 Qualifier Tournament round; and/or
• (b) Earn 1,250 Slot tier points on August 17 from 12:00am – 5:00pm to be eligible to participate in the August 17 Slot Tournament Qualifier.

Qualifier Tournament # 3

• (a) Earn 1,250 Slot tier points on August 23 from 12:00am – 5:00pm to be eligible to participate in the August 23 Qualifier Tournament round; and/or
• (b) Earn 1,250 Slot tier points on August 24 from 12:00am – 5:00pm to be eligible to participate in the August 24 Slot Tournament Qualifier.

Qualifier Tournament # 4

• (a) Earn 1,250 Slot tier points on August 30 from 12:00am – 5:00pm to be eligible to participate in the August 30 Qualifier Tournament round; and/or
• (b) Earn 1,250 Slot tier points on August 31 from 12:00am – 5:00pm to be eligible to participate in the August 31 Slot Tournament Qualifier.

Note: Invited and Non-Invited Qualifier Tournament Participants must go to any Club Serrano Kiosk to print their Tournament entry voucher before proceeding to the Tournament area (across from Greene St. Kitchen) between 12:00pm – 5:00pm every Qualifier Tournament Day to participate in tournament play. 

4.    The top 25 places of the previous Thursday’s Weekly $10,000 Slot Tournaments (a separate Palms promotion) shall receive a bonus entry into that week’s Qualifier Tournament (“Bonus Entry”) for this Tournament. 

5.    Machine assignments will be determined by a random draw when the Participant arrives at the Tournament area. Management shall have the sole and absolute discretion to determine final machine assignments. Participants will receive a four-digit pin number after they register. The four-digit pin number must be entered to initiate Tournament play.

6.    Tournament play will be held on the above published Tournament days and hours. Failure to arrive at the Tournament area and check-in with a Tournament representative during the published Tournament hours will eliminate the Participant from entry into the Tournament.

• (a) Tournament will be “walk-up” (aka “sit and go”) style on the designated Tournament machines. Participants will play one (1), two (2)-minute round of the tournament game to determine their score.
• (b) Only one (1) person may play per machine, per round.
• (c) Participants may participate once each day. Participants that have more than one entry will keep the highest score generated to determine final placement.

7.    If two (2) or more Participants have the same score from their highest round, the tied Participants will equally split the sum total of the applicable prize(s). For example, if three (3) Participants tie for 2nd place, they would equally split the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place prizes; the next highest score would receive the 5th place prize amount.

August 9-10, 16-17, 23-24, 30-31 Qualifier Tournament(s) Prize Structure:

8.    Qualifier Tournament results will be announced/published at the Club Serrano Rewards Desk at Palms after the conclusion of each 2-day tournament (i.e. August 9-10).

• (a) Free Play Prizes from the Qualifier Tournament will be valid for thirty (30) days only at Palms.
• (b) Any prize won will be automatically loaded/awarded to the primary registered Participant’s account.

9.    The top one hundred (100) scores from each Qualifier Tournaments held at Palms (i.e. August 9-10, 16-17, 23-24, 30-31) will qualify to advance to the Semifinals Slot Tournament on Saturday, September 7, 2024, for a maximum of four hundred (400) advancing semi-finalists. In the event that a Participant places in the top one hundred (100) for multiple Qualifier Tournaments, such Participant will be awarded the corresponding Free Play prize for their ranking but will not be given additional semifinalists spots in the Semifinalist Tournament.

SEMIFINALS TOURNAMENT
The Semifinals Tournament will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, between 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Palms Casino Resort on the Casino Floor in the designated tournament area. For the semifinals tournament held at YRC, see YRC’s rules.

Ways to Enter:

• (i) (10) Invited Club Serrano guests who were the number 6 through 15 Top Point Earners at Palms between August 1 – 31, 2024. (The number 1 through 5 Top Point Earners at Palms will automatically advance to the Finale Tournament.)
  OR
• (ii) Four Hundred (400) Participants who advanced from the Qualifier Tournaments. (i.e. the top 100 from each of the 4 Palms’ Qualifier Tournaments
  OR
• (iii) Last Chance Drawings Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 4:00pm.
  1. (a) Five (5) Participants will be drawn from all Tournament Participants who did not advance in the “Qualifier Tournaments”
     AND
  2. (b) Five (5) players (regardless if they participated in any Qualifier Tournament) randomly drawn that earned 1,250 Slot Tier Points between 12:01 am – 3pm on Saturday, September 7, 2024. 
     1. (i) Entrants MUST ACTIVATE THEIR ENTRIES within one (1) hour before the applicable drawing time by swiping at any Club Serrano kiosk, or by having an active rated slot session closed.
  3. (c) All potential Last Chance Drawing winners must immediately claim their spot in the Semifinal Tournament or position in Semifinal Tournament will be forfeited and another name will be drawn (up to 5 times).

10.    Machine assignments will be determined by a random draw when the Participant arrives at the Tournament area. Management shall have the sole and absolute discretion to determine final machine assignments. Participants will receive a four-digit pin number after they register. The four-digit pin number must be entered to initiate Tournament play.

12.    Semifinal Tournament Participants must go to any Club Serrano Kiosk to print their Tournament entry voucher before proceeding to the Tournament area (across from Greene St. Kitchen) between 5:00pm – 9:00pm on the Semifinals Tournament day to participate in tournament play.

13.    Semifinal Tournament play will be held from 5:00pm – 9:00pm on September 7, 2024.

• (a) Tournament will be “walk-up” (aka “sit and go”) style on the designated Tournament machines. Participants will play maximum of two (2) 2-minute rounds of the tournament game to determine their score.
• (b) Participants will keep the highest score generated to determine final placement.

14.    Only one (1) person may play per machine, per round.

15.    Semifinal Tournament Participants may only participate in one tournament spot.

• (a) The top one hundred (100) scorers from the Semifinal Tournament will advance to Finale Tournament on September 13-14, 2024, at Palms.
• (b) If two (2) or more Participants have the same score from their highest round, the tied Participants will equally split the sum total of the applicable prizes. For example, if three (3) Participants tie for 2nd place, they would equally split the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place prizes; the next highest score would receive the 5th place prize amount.

September 7, 2024, Semifinal Tournament Prize Structure:

16.    Results will be announced/published at the Club Serrano Rewards Desk at Palms after the conclusion of tournament on September 7.

• (a) Free Play Prizes will be valid for thirty (30) days and valid only at Palms.
• (b) Any prize won will be automatically loaded/awarded to the primary registered Participant’s account.

FINALE TOURNAMENT
The Battle of the West Slot Tournament Finale will be held Friday, September 13 – Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Palms. The Finale Tournament shall contain both Palms and YRC Participants, and these Official Rules shall govern the Finale Tournament for all Finale Tournament Participants.

Ways to Enter:

• (i) Ten (10) Invited Club Serrano guests who are the Top Point Earners between August 1 – 31, 2024 (i.e. the top Five (5) from YRC and the top Five (5) from Palms).
  OR
• (ii) Up to Two Hundred (200) Club Serrano members who advanced from the Semifinal Tournament (i.e. up to One Hundred (100) from YRC and up to One Hundred (100) from Palms).
  OR
• (iii) Last Chance Drawings Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 12:00pm at Unknown Bar.
  1. (a) Five (5) Participants will be drawn from all Tournament Participants who did not advance in the “Qualifier Tournaments”
     AND
  2. (b) Five (5) players (regardless if they participated in any Qualifier Tournament) randomly drawn that earned 1,250 Slot Tier Points between 12:01 am – 11:00am on Saturday, September 14, 2024.
     1. (i) Entrants MUST ACTIVATE THEIR ENTRIES withing one (1) hour before the applicable drawing time by swiping at any Club Serrano kiosk, or by having an active rated slot session closed.
  3. (c) All potential Last Chance Drawing winners must immediately claim their spot in the Semifinal Tournament or position in Semifinal Tournament will be forfeited and another name will be drawn (up to 5 times).

17.    Finale Tournament Registration & Welcome Reception for qualifying Participants qualified members will be held between 6:00pm - 8:00pm, in Moon at Palms on Friday, September 13, where Participants will receive their assigned Finale Tournament starting round time. A late registration will be available on Saturday, September 14 between 11:00am-12:00pm in Greene St. Kitchen.

18.    YRC Finale Participants (i.e. the Top 5 Point Earners at YRC and the up to 100 YRC Participants advancing from the semifinals held at YRC) shall receive a complimentary hotel stay at Palms for the Finale Tournament and must stay at Palms to be eligible for the Finale Tournament. YRC will offer Air Travel only via Southwest gift cards for Finale Participants to travel to Palms ‘See Applicable YRC rules for detail’.

19.    Slot machine assignments will be determined randomly prior to the start of each session of Finale Tournament play.

20.    The Finale Tournament will be held on Saturday, September 14 inside Greene St. Kitchen at Palms beginning at 12:00pm (noon).

• (a) The Tournament will be Session style (i.e. Participants will play two (2) back-to- back 2-minute rounds of the tournament game as assigned at registration).
• (b) Scores from the two (2) rounds will be totaled to determine final score and order of finish.
• (c) If two (2) or more Participants have the same combined score from their rounds, the tied Participants will equally split the sum total of the applicable prizes. For example, if three (3) Participants tie for 2nd place, they would equally split the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place prizes; the next highest score would receive the 5th place prize amount.

September 14, 2024, Finale Tournament Prize Structure:

21.    Results will be announced after the conclusion of the tournament on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at the Awards Ceremony in Moon at 8:00pm.

• (i) 1st – 6th place winners have until 12:00pm (noon) on Sunday, September 15, 2024 to claim their prize at the Club Serrano Rewards Desk at Palms.
  1.  (a) Free Play Prize winners of $5,000 or greater will have the option to:
     1. (i) Split their Free Play 50/50 between Palms and YRC OR
     2. (ii) Redeem at either Palms or YRC only
• (ii) All Free Play Prizes will be valid for thirty (30) days from issuance.
• (iii) All Free Play prizes won will be automatically loaded onto the primary registered Participant’s account, subject to Rule #21(a).

Total prize value all Tournament rounds (including YRC qualifier and semifinal tournaments) is at least One Million Dollars ($1,000,000).

General Rules
22.    Participation into a tournament is not guaranteed if a member is unable to register or appear during the times stated in these official rules. No special circumstances will warrant the delaying of a tournament to be able to accommodate individuals or groups of individuals.

23.    Participants must be present at their assigned slot machine in the Tournament Area no less than ten (10) minutes before the start of their session and play at all their assigned round/session times. Failure to be present at any round/session may eliminate the Participant from further participation in the Tournament.

24.    It is the Participant’s responsibility to immediately notify the Tournament representative with questions or concerns that may arise during a round. Upon notification of a malfunction, Management will determine, at its sole discretion, whether to continue play or to replay a session.

• (i) Participants should continue to press the ‘Play’ button while they are awaiting a Tournament representative to assist them.
• (ii) Minor pauses or delays are not considered a machine malfunction.

25.    Tournament Machines have individual timers that may shut off upon malfunction. In the event a malfunction cannot be corrected, the Participant will be moved to a vacant Tournament Machine to play his/her round. In the event the Participant is unable to be moved to a vacant Tournament Machine during his/her round, the Participant will be accommodated at Management’s Discretion. A complete round must be played on a single machine. One (1) single Participant must play an entire round.

• (i) No money, tokens or coins will be required to play Tournament Machines.

26.    Prizes will be awarded according to the Prize Structure. 

27.    A Participant’s score is determined by the number of points registered on his/her assigned Tournament Machine at the end of their round, regardless of what the credit meter reads. 

28.    The Prize Structure will be paid as published. Any agreements between Participants concerning the sharing of Tournament winnings are entered into solely by the Participants and are not endorsed by Palms Casino Resort. Palms Casino Resort does not enforce any of these types of agreements and is not responsible if certain parties do not honor their agreements. 

29.    Free Play Prizes will be valid for thirty (30) days and will be automatically loaded/awarded to the primary registered Participant’s account.

30.    Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable.

31.    Falsification of any information will result in ineligibility.

32.    There is no smoking or vaping inside the Tournament Area.

33.    By participating in the Slot Tournament, all participants agree to and acknowledge that they will abide by the official rules, regulations, and procedures of the Tournament. Official rules will be posted at the Club Serrano Rewards Center and Tournament Area.

34.    By participating in this Tournament, you grant Palms Casino Resort permission to print, publish, televise, or otherwise utilize your name, city, state, photograph, or any likeness of you for promotional purposes.

35.    Management on duty will resolve any and all disputes. Persons who violate any rule, gain unfair advantage in participating in the contest, or obtain winner status using fraudulent means will be disqualified.

36.    Any violation of Tournament Rules may result in immediate disqualification of the Participant(s) involved. In the event of a dispute, the decision of the Tournament Committee will be final and binding.

37.    Persons who have voluntarily or involuntarily been excluded from the property or who have requested self-exclusion from the property are not eligible to participate in the promotion.

38.    Employees of Palms or YRC and their respective affiliates, owners, subsidiaries, franchisees, and advertising or promotion agencies are not eligible, nor are members of these employees’ families (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse, and life partners).

39.    Must be 21 years of age or older to participate, be able to present proof of age with valid government-issued photo identification satisfactory to Palms and must be a member of the Club Serrano program. Membership is free.

40.    Casino capacity is limited and participation into a promotion/event/tournament is not guaranteed if a member is unable to register during the times stated in the Official Rules. No special circumstances will warrant the delaying of a promotion/event/tournament to be able to accommodate individuals or groups of individuals.

41.    Management reserves the right to cancel, change or modify the Tournament without notice at any time.

42.    The decisions of Palms Management regarding all aspects of this Tournament are final and binding, subject to NRS §463.362 which governs the Tournament. These Official Rules pertain to all of the Tournament activities occurring at Palms, and in the event of a conflict between these Official Tournament Rules and any related rules produced by YRC, these Official Rules shall at all times govern and control to resolve such conflict. 

43.    Palms Casino Resort shall be excused from all performance and or payment obligations when the ability to execute the aforementioned promotion has been impeded as a result of, or arising from, any of the following: governmental laws, regulations, orders, war, acts of terrorism, acts of nature, pandemic viruses, riots, civil disobedience, severe weather conditions including but not limited to tornadoes, hurricanes, ice storms, snow storms, hail storms, state or national emergencies (hereinafter referred to as “Force Majeure conditions”). Palms Casino Resort shall only be excused from their performance and/or payment obligations of said promotion during the duration of the Force Majeure condition. Executive management of Palms Casino Resort shall retain the right to cancel, terminate or postpone the Promotion in its sole discretion due to Force Majeure conditions. Executive management of Palms Casino Resort shall retain the right to reschedule, or not reschedule the aforementioned Promotion in its sole discretion. The staff of Palms Casino Resort shall use reasonable efforts to inform Promotion Participants of the cancellation, termination, or postponement of any Promotion due to Force Majeure conditions. 

44.    EACH PRIZE WINNER WILL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND/OR LOCAL TAXES, AND FOR ANY OTHER FEES OR COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE PRIZES THEY RECEIVE. Potential winners are subject to eligibility verification and compliance with these Official Rules. Each potential winner may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and/or Winner’s Form, which includes releases of liability and publicity, and full completion of applicable tax form(s) (e.g. 1099-MISC, W2- G, 1042-S) within three (3) days of issuance. All Prize winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes, including taxes imposed on their income. Non- US resident Prize Winners further acknowledge and agree that Prizes are subject to federal withholding requirements. No cash redemption or Prize substitution allowed, except by the Sponsor, who reserves the right in its sole discretion to substitute another prize it believes is of equal or greater value. Prize is non-transferable and will be awarded only to the named Prize Winner. Prizes are awarded “as-is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor.
