Tournament Overview

1.    Participation in the $10,000 Weekly Slot Tournament (“Tournament”) is limited to: (i) invited Club Serrano guests and (ii) all other Club Serrano guests that earn at least 1,000 Slot Tier Points during tournament hours on the day of a particular tournament (i.e. 12:01 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. every Thursday in February) (collectively, “Participants”). 

2.    All participants must go to any Club Serrano Kiosk to print their Tournament entry voucher before proceeding to the Tournament area (across from Greene St. Kitchen).

3.    Invited and all other Participants are eligible to play up to five times during the weekly Slot Tournament after earning the required number of Slot Tier Points, 1,000 for each additional play during the tournament hours on the day of a particular tournament (i.e. 12:01 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. every Thursday in February). The lowest score will be dropped.

4.    Must be in line by 1:05pm to participate.

5.    Machine assignments will be determined by a random draw when the guest arrives at the Tournament area.  Management shall have the sole and absolute discretion to determine final machine assignments.

6.    Participants will receive a four-digit pin number after they register. The four-digit pin number must be entered to initiate Tournament Play.

7.    The Tournament consists of one (1) 2-minute round of Tournament play.  Each Participant will play one (1) 2-minute round of the Cleopatra tournament machine.

8.    Participants may arrive at the Tournament area at any time during the published Tournament hours and play their one (1) 2-minute round.  Failure to arrive at the Tournament area and check-in with a Tournament representative during the published Tournament hours will eliminate the Participant from entry into the Tournament. No makeup rounds will be given.

9.    Tournament play will take place on designated Tournament machines. Only one (1) person may play per machine, per round.

10.    It is the Participant’s responsibility to immediately notify the Tournament representative with questions or concerns that may arise during a round. Upon notification of a malfunction, Management will determine, at its sole discretion, whether to continue play or to replay a session.

i.    Participants should continue to press the ‘Play’ button while they are awaiting a Tournament representative to assist them.

ii.    Minor pauses or delays are not considered a machine malfunction.

11.    Tournament Machines have individual timers that may shut off upon malfunction. In the event a malfunction cannot be corrected, the Participant will be moved to a vacant Tournament Machine to play his/her round. In the event the Participant is unable to be moved to a vacant Tournament machine during his/her round, the Participant will be accommodated at Management’s Discretion. A complete round must be played on a single machine. One (1) single Participant must play an entire round.

i.    No money, tokens or coins will be required to play Tournament Machines.

12.    In the event of a system-wide Tournament Manager malfunction, the Tournament Prize Structure is considered payable to all Participants that completed their one (1) 2-minute round.

13.    If two (2) or more Participants have the same score total from their one (1) 2-minute round, the tied Participants will equally split the sum total of the applicable prizes. For example, if three (3) Participants tie for 2nd place, they would equally split the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place prizes; the next highest score would receive the 5th place prize amount.

14.    Prizes will be awarded according to the Prize Structure, in Free Slot Play.

15.    A Participant’s score is determined by the number of points registered on his/her assigned Tournament Machine at the end of their round, regardless of what the credit meter reads.

16.    The Prize Structure will be paid as published. Any agreements between Participants concerning the sharing of Tournament winnings are entered into solely by the Participants and are not endorsed by Palms Casino Resort. Palms Casino Resort does not enforce any of these types of agreements and is not responsible if certain parties do not honor their agreements.

17.    Free Slot Play Prizes will be valid for thirty (30) days and valid only at Palms Casino Resort. Prizes will only be awarded by Sponsor if and when eligibility requirements are confirmed, all forms are completed, applicable withholding obligations are satisfied, and other applicable requirements met.

18.    There is no smoking or vaping inside the Tournament Area

GENERAL RULES

1.    Must be 21 years of age or older (with proof of age acceptable to Palms) to participate and must be a member in good standing of the Club Serrano program. Membership is free.

2.    Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable.

3.    When applicable, winners must fill out a prize log, a prize agreement, and applicable tax form(s) (e.g. W-9, 1042-S, etc.) and provide a valid I.D. to claim a prize. The prize winners are solely responsible for all applicable, federal, state, and local taxes.

4.    Falsification of any information will result in ineligibility.

5.    Palms Casino Resort does not endorse any agreements concerning the sharing of winning made between Participants. Such agreements are entered into solely by the Participants and will not be enforced by Palms Casino Resort under any circumstances.

6.    Palms Casino Resort shall be excused from all performance and or payment obligations when the ability to execute the aforementioned promotion/giveaway has been impeded as a result of, or arising from, any of the following: governmental laws, regulations, orders, wars, acts of terrorism, acts of nature, pandemic viruses, riots, civil disobedience; sever weather conditions including but not limited to tornadoes, hurricanes, ice storms, snow storms, and/or hail storms; state of national emergencies (hereinafter referred to as “Force Majeure conditions”). Palms Casino Resort shall only be excused from their performance and/or payment obligations of said promotion/giveaway during the duration of the Force Majeure condition. Executive management of Palms Casino Resort shall retain the right to cancel, terminate, or postpone the Promotion/Giveaway in its sole discretion, due to Force Majeure conditions. Executive management of Palms Casino Resort shall retain the option to reschedule the Promotion/Giveaway at its sole discretion but has no obligation to do so. The staff of Palms Casino Resort shall use reasonable efforts to inform Promotion/Giveaway Participants of the cancellation, termination, or postponement of any Promotion/Giveaway due to Force Majeure conditions.

7.    By participating in the Tournament, all participants agree to and acknowledge that they will abide by the official rules, regulations, and procedures of the Tournament. Official rules will be posted at the Club Serrano Rewards Center and Tournament area.

8.    Any violation of Tournament Rules may result in immediate disqualification of the Participant(s) involved.  In the event of a dispute, the decision of the Tournament Committee will be final and binding.

9.    By participating in this Tournament, you grant Palms Casino Resort permission to print, publish, televise, or otherwise utilize your name, city, state, photograph, or any likeness of you for promotional purposes.

10.    Management on duty will resolve any and all disputes. Persons who violate any rule, gain unfair advantage in participating in the contest, or obtain winner status using fraudulent means will be disqualified.

11.    Persons who have been excluded from the property or who have requested a self-limitation of casino privileges at the property are not eligible to participate in the tournament.

12.    Employees, officers, directors, representatives and agents of FP Holdings, L.P. d/b/a Palms Casino Resort or any prize provider(s) and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, and affiliates, including but not limited to Palm’s sister property Yaamava’ Resort & Casino, are not eligible to participate or win a prize, nor are members of these employees’ families (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse, and life partners).

13.    Casino capacity is limited and participation in a promotion/event/tournament is not guaranteed if a member is unable to register during the times stated in the official rules. No special circumstances will warrant the delaying of a promotion/event/tournament to be able to accommodate individuals or groups of individuals.

14.    Management reserves the right to substitute prizes with a prize of equal value.         

15.    Management reserves the right to cancel, change or modify the Tournament without notice at any time.

16.    The decisions of Management regarding all aspects of this Tournament are final and binding, subject to NRS 463.362 which governs the Tournament.
